About the Role
The Brand and Product Marketing Manager, nLight® and Software, is responsible for developing and assessing brand and product positioning messages, audience-based communications including promotional programs, and product releases. This role leverages data, research, and collaboration to formulate recommendations and drive action plans for messaging, delivery, and budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and guidelines to ensure value is communicated consistently across audiences, with a strong focus on customer needs and outcomes.
- Understand and communicate nLight and software product objectives within the lighting controls segment and broader connected building ecosystem.
- Identify and support opportunities to strengthen brand representation and accuracy at industry events, sponsorships, and customer engagements.
- Execute the product communication release process and manage marketing deliverables across owned, organic, and paid channels.
- Assess related brand and product assets and coordinate required updates across websites, sales enablement tools, product collateral, and communication platforms.
- Gather input and cross-functional alignment on messaging to support an annual content calendar and execute associated communication tactics.
- Collaborate on vertical and customer programs and related assets.
- Conduct interviews and gather insights to create project references, testimonials, case studies, and thought leadership.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure messaging reflects product value, customer needs, market trends, and business priorities.
- Leverage Key Performance Indicators, voice of customer, and market research to identify opportunities and performance enhancements.
Requirements
- Proven B2B product marketing experience, ideally hardware and software products.
- Ability to translate technical product capabilities into clear customer value propositions and audience-specific messaging.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple initiatives, and deliver on time.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product management, sales, creative, digital, channel, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience using data, VOC, campaign metrics, and market insights to inform marketing recommendations.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, enhance marketing content, and support preferred data-informed decision-making.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, Adobe tools, and internal marketing or project management systems.
