About the Role

As an Initiative Management Team Leader, you will shape high-impact innovation across global brands while influencing strategic business decisions. This role offers unique visibility, cross-functional leadership, and the opportunity to drive transformation at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the on time/in full delivery of Color Cosmetics Brands, Segment and Base Business Initiative Master Plans (IMP) from idea through to launch.
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a diverse innovation portfolio, ensuring strong prioritization, gate governance, and execution excellence.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Global Marketing, CMI, Trade Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement, Merchandizing and Finance.
  • Facilitate informed decision-making, manage risks, and ensure mitigation plans are in place to secure project readiness.
  • Orchestrate complex innovation and business continuity programs to achieve strategic business objectives.
  • Serve as the single source of truth for 360 readiness (Commercial, Financial, Technical).
  • Coach and develop Initiative Management talent.
  • Drive continuous improvement.
  • Drive the delivery of Brand and Segment Initiative Master Plan (IMP) ensuring initiative productivity and leveraging synergies across the NPD process.
  • Orchestrate the E2E Commercial, Financial and Technical Readiness to ensure gate and launches are on time and in full.
  • Ensure all projects have an aligned development plan (CPS) and that issues and risks are proactively identified and brought to the attention of the project team for mitigation or resolution.
  • Elevate project issues and options to Senior Leaders for visibility and support in resolution when needed.
  • Frame and communicate project questions to facilitate informed and agile decision taking.
  • Apply the standard Supply operating strategy matrix to recommend finished good sourcing approach.
  • Coach team members to build innovation management capabilities, identify talent, and build Initiative Management capability within multi-functional teams.
  • Drive Continual Improvement through coordinating project learning cycles.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of 7+ years in Supply Chain role(s), new product development processes & stage gate approach and/or project management.
  • Proven experience in delivering projects as a leader (on time, on cost & quality) and/or member of a multi-functional team.
  • 3 years project management experience – familiarity with CPS/Project Planning, standard project management toolbox.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Project capabilities.
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken).
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of individual accountability and is autonomous, action-orientated, pro-active and pragmatic.
  • Embraces and accelerates change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thrives on challenges and keeps a healthy attitude under pressure.
  • Adapts leadership style to situations & people, finds the right balance between delegation & control.
  • Demonstrates relevant business knowledge & financial awareness.
  • Preferably to have experience of Coty Operations or related industry, pharmaceutical, paint, food, FMCG.
