About the Role

This role is responsible for the accurate and timely reconciliation of various financial accounts, including Depository, Corporate Insurance, and Corporate Investment Accounts. The position involves working with banks and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely reconciliation of Compass Depository Accounts, Corporate Insurance Accounts, and Corporate Investment Accounts.
  • Research and resolve errors and discrepancies with banks and armored carriers.
  • Research and resolve ledger discrepancies with Regional Controllers and Accountants.
  • Book maintenance and corrective journal entries.
  • Act as a liaison between Field Operations/Accounting, banks, and third-party banking vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Accounting or Finance).
  • Two years of Accounting Experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of associates.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
  • Detail-oriented team player with initiative.
  • Working knowledge of SAP financial and/or Access.
  • Previous Account Reconciliation software experience.
