About the Role

In the role of Assistant Project Manager, you will coordinate the work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's life cycle, from development and initiation to close-out, under the supervision of a Project Manager. You will be responsible for many aspects of a small project or a single aspect of a larger project, coordinating workload through project execution and completing deliverables on budget and schedule. This role involves working with leadership for periodic project reviews, demonstrating strong ability to work under pressure, manage competing deadlines, and pivot quickly between changing priorities. You will take initiative, anticipate needs, escalate issues when appropriate, and make decisions with evolving information, approaching challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's life cycle (from development and initiation to close-out), while under supervision of a Project Manager
  • Responsible for many aspects of a small project or a single aspect of a larger project
  • Coordinate workload through project execution and complete deliverables on budget and schedule
  • Work with the Project Manager, Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews
  • Demonstrate strong ability to work under pressure, manage competing deadlines, and pivot quickly between changing priorities
  • Take initiative without prompting, anticipating needs, escalating issues when appropriate, and make decisions with evolving information
  • Approach challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset, bringing forward next steps, options, and recommendations
  • Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 5 years related experience
  • Must have the ability to interact with various design teams
  • Excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
