About the Role
As a Key Holder, you will be an integral part of the store's day-to-day operations, working alongside the management team to create memorable moments for guests. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on delivering exceptional service in a fun, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Promptly greet store guests and offer assistance to provide quality guest service.
- Consistently practice suggestive selling to increase sales by engaging guests, suggesting promotional items, and attempting add-on sales.
- Maintain knowledge of store products, current sales, promotions, sales targets, KPIs, and new products.
- Meet company presentation standards by following guidelines for merchandise display, store cleanliness, receiving shipments, replenishing stock, and rotating products.
- Adhere to Event Network and hotel appearance and dress standards.
- Process all transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register system, including cash, credit card payments, employee discounts, and guest room/hotel property charges.
- Complete store paperwork and procedures, including printing register reports, performing cycle counts, and executing opening and closing procedures.
- Recognize security risks and protect company and store assets by knowing how to prevent and handle situations that could result in loss.
- Follow all applicable state and federal laws, and company policies and procedures for store operations, timekeeping, hotel operations, loss prevention, and human resources.
- Collaborate with all staff to achieve store goals and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Experience as a keyholder or supervisor in a retail environment.
- Merchandising experience organizing and presenting products that are visually appealing.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a service mindset.
- Must be 21 for Liquor sales.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, morning and evening shifts.
- Ability to stand up to 8 hours.
- Ability to walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to climb or balance.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to read, count, and write accurately to complete paperwork.
