About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Multimedia Designer to join our in-house creative team. You will create branded visual content, including graphics, illustrations, social media assets, video, and motion graphics, for multiple consumer brands, with a primary focus on HighSpeedInternet.com and SatelliteInternet.com. This role is at an exciting point where AI tools are transforming creative workflows, emphasizing the need for strong design fundamentals and a unique creative point of view to elevate output beyond AI-generated content.
Responsibilities
- Produce original, branded visual content across online editorial, landing pages, paid and organic social, email, and motion.
- Create digital graphics that translate data and ideas into clear, scannable visual stories.
- Design featured images, landing page graphics, social graphics, email graphics, icons, and illustrated brand elements.
- Build effective visual assets for paid social ad campaigns.
- Produce social media cutdowns and basic video edits.
- Explore motion graphics using Figma Motion.
- Use AI-powered tools to accelerate visual content production while maintaining brand integrity and creative point of view.
- Curate AI-generated outputs against brand standards, pushing for the non-obvious and refining work to have a signature.
- Clarify creative intent before prompting AI tools.
- Contribute to and follow internal AI image and video production standards.
- Populate and maintain graphic and video templates for autonomous asset production by non-designers.
- Contribute to and maintain Figma graphic libraries across brands.
- Help maintain icon sets and other brand asset systems as they scale.
- Work closely with the Creative Director, editorial leads, paid media team, product designers, marketing managers, and digital PR specialists.
- Participate in design critique, accept and give specific feedback.
- Manage your own schedule and prioritize across multiple concurrent projects.
Requirements
- 3+ years digital graphic or motion design experience.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, Figma Draw.
- Working fluency in Figma Design (components, auto-layout, libraries, variables).
- Curiosity about Figma Motion, Buzz, and the broader Figma ecosystem is essential.
- Comfortable using AI tools as part of your creative process.
- Basic video editing skills (cutdowns, social-first edits, light motion) using Adobe Express, Descript, or similar.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating breadth, craft, and a clear point of view.
- Ability to visualize data and complex ideas clearly and accurately.
- Strong creative instincts and the ability to channel brand personality through visual work.
- Clear written and verbal communication; able to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Ability to self-manage, hold quality bar across multiple projects, and meet team goals.
- Collaborative and flexible when working cross-functionally.
- Applicants must include a portfolio to be considered.
- Portfolio should demonstrate breadth across at least three of: graphic design, social media, motion or video, illustration, data visualization, brand identity work.
