About the Role
The Cheese Caves Internship provides opportunities for enthusiastic individuals to expand their knowledge of cheese and cheese aging, working side-by-side with the affinage team to learn the craft, art, and science of maturing cheese.
Responsibilities
- Work side-by-side with the affinage team.
- Learn the craft, art, and science of maturing cheese.
- Perform hands-on tasks such as washing cheeses and caring for bloomy rinds as they age.
Requirements
- Passionate about cheese.
- Able to communicate what they hope to learn from the internship.
- Ability to perform physical tasks in a cold environment.
