About the Role

As part of North Strategic and Publicis Groupe Canada's growing Influencer practice, we are hiring an Account Director. This experienced leader will be passionate about the influencer and creator landscape, taking the lead to shape the agency's growing influencer practice. You will inspire and guide direct reports and cross-functional teams to deliver bold creative ideas, build deep client relationships, and execute with excellence. You will own key client relationships, build lasting relationships with senior client stakeholders, and partner with clients to pursue program goals with a focus on leveraging new trends and forging excellent creator-brand partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Take a leading role on flagship accounts and continue to shape the agency’s influencer practice.
  • Demonstrate excellence in senior client CRM, communications, account management, and growth.
  • Lead new business opportunities.
  • Develop targeted influencer strategies to exceed client objectives and performance goals.
  • Develop and implement influencer/social campaign measurement frameworks.
  • Lead the strategic direction of brand content based on client objectives.
  • Inspire, excite, challenge, and motivate agency team members through coaching, career development, and mentoring.
  • Foster strong relationships with Integrated Agency Team partners.
  • Manage budgets and team resources for a specific set of client accounts.
  • Gather data and insights to enhance and sell in bold ideas.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in the influencer space, developing integrated strategies.
  • Agency or client service experience.
  • Proven track record of building high-performance teams and adding value to company culture.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Dynamic team player, collaboratively partnering with cross-functional leaders.
  • Superior finance, project management, team resourcing, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities to effectively manage internal and external relationships, vendors, and agency partners.
  • Agility, speed, and flexibility to manage workflow within a changing work environment.
  • Calm under pressure.
  • Inter-agency experience working with creative, digital, sponsorship, research, and media buying companies.
  • Skilled at developing effective measurement frameworks for social programs, analyzing data, deriving insights, and building creative strategies.
  • Refined understanding of community management and paid social/digital campaigns.
