About the Role
The Maintenance & Grounds position is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the dealership's facilities and grounds. This includes performing basic maintenance tasks, ensuring a clean and safe environment for customers and employees, and assisting with special projects as needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dealership's interior and exterior areas, including the showroom, offices, service areas, and parking lot.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs.
- Keep the grounds and landscaping looking presentable, including mowing lawns, trimming bushes, and removing snow and ice.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning and maintenance supplies, notifying management when replacements are needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and report any safety concerns or accidents to management.
- Assist with special projects and events.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in facility maintenance and/or groundskeeping.
- Knowledge of safe handling and use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
