About the Role
The Healthcare Operations Coordinator assists in the day-to-day coordination of operational activities supporting clinical service delivery. This role provides administrative support to management, tracks business processes, reviews invoices, monitors deliverables, and participates in special projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist operations leaders with the development and documentation of internal organizational charts and operational procedures, including workflows, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Provides excellent customer service and creative conflict resolution.
- Tracks, organizes and distributes deliverables from partners and internal management, including service line specific, department and contract deliverables such as invoices and reports.
- Coordinates across operational leaders to support operational functions and special projects.
- Provides support in the coordination of special projects and initiatives with internal departments.
- Serves as a liaison with various partners and internal staff at all levels.
- Serves as lead in processing employee expenses, tracking training and software licenses, and other items as requested.
- Works with internal staff to ensure various invoices are tracked, reviewed and validated and that errors are identified in a timely manner.
- Participates in audits or records review as directed by leadership.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to assess project needs, proactively assess gaps and opportunities, and provide recommendations.
- Updates department SharePoint site.
- Supports Operations Manager and above with scheduling meetings.
Requirements
- 3 years experience working in an administrative role required.
- 1 year experience working in an administrative healthcare role preferred.
- Experience in project management or administrative activities including meeting coordination, tracking invoices or creating and maintaining documentation preferred.
Education Level
- Bachelor's degree required OR Associates Degree with 2 years of additional experience
