About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach while working collaboratively with the Allied Universal team.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, exterior grounds, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required daily activity logs and/or patrol documentation.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
