About the Role

Restaurant Associates is seeking a seasonal Bartender to prepare and serve beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. This role adheres to liquor regulations, manages bar inventory, and ensures guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves beverages to guests in the bar area.
• Adheres to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations.
• Sets up assigned bars and stocks inventory.
• Maintains stock, prepares, cures, and stores fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables.
• Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Takes and processes orders for drinks, mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks.
• Checks guests at the bar for proper identification.
• Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained.
• Receives cash from guests, makes change, verifies charges, and records charges.
• Locks up and stores all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits, and cash drops.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Keeps work area clean and organized.
• Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display.
• Washes and sterilizes stemware.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• One to two years of bartending experience is required.
• Weekend and night availability is required.

Skills

• Knowledge of liquor laws.
