About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Digital Production Assistant to join a groundbreaking online news team for FoxNews.com & FoxBusiness.com. This role requires someone who can handle a fast-paced environment, is creative, flexible, and possesses a "can-do" attitude. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, enjoys collaboration, and seeks advancement within the company.

Responsibilities

• Work with editors and reporters on stories and projects, including MOS interviews and original video.
• Assist in producing content for YouTube channels and other platforms, and edit short-form videos.
• Clip video segments from Fox News and FOX Business.
• Multitask on tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
• Prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Strong video editing skills.
• Knowledge of Photoshop and video editing systems such as Adobe Premiere preferred.
• Experience in updating and programming YouTube channels and other social media platforms.
• 1-2+ years of online news experience, either writing or producing.
• Strong knowledge of and passion for news, media, and pop culture.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience multitasking several projects.
• Excellent editorial judgment and knowledge of current events.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced 24-hour news environment.
• Ability to work some holidays and adhere to shift changes.
• Ability to be a team player willing to jump in when needed in breaking news situations.
• Proven capability to be creative and think ‘outside the box’.
• Exposure to AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, NotebookLM) used to assist with research and digital content preparation.
