About the Role
The Financial Operations Associate will manage media budgets, ensuring timely execution of deliverables and client-facing reports. This role requires a passion for numbers and keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Maintain monthly financial processes and collaborate on the Bill/Pay process.
- Analyze reporting, address billing questions, resolve spend variances, and close quarterly budgets.
- Create media estimates and maintain internal estimate listings.
- Provide timely and accurate information and reports to Account Leadership and clients.
- Maintain financial operations systems, controls, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Participate in vendor reconciliation statuses.
- Manage multiple deliverables and transition seamlessly among them.
- Build trusting, collaborative relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Ensure collaboration among all groups and foster teamwork.
- Stay informed of billing and reporting issues and escalate discrepancies.
- Be inquisitive and solution-oriented when barriers arise.
- Express oneself clearly and concisely, both written and verbally.
- Organize ideas and information logically and sequentially.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 1+ years of work experience with hands-on budget management experience (preferably within the media industry).
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel.
