About the Role
Capital Cardiology Associates is seeking a compassionate and reliable full-time Medical Assistant to join their team. In this vital role, you will collaborate closely with registered nurses to provide high-quality care for patients, contributing to the mission of delivering exceptional cardiac care.
Responsibilities
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, vital sign checks, medication reconciliation, and assist with medical records.
- Provide exceptional patient support and care in various procedures.
- Assist with patient check-in/check-out, including verifying demographics, insurance, scheduling appointments, collecting co-pays, and ensuring test authorizations are in place.
- Demonstrate strong multitasking abilities and communication skills to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
- Cardiac background preferred but not necessary.
- Familiarity with medical software and terminology is a plus.
