About the Role
Hands On Health Associates, LLC is seeking a full-time Mental Health Therapist to provide mental health and substance abuse services to clients, enhancing their recovery. This role involves diagnosing and treating psychological disorders, teaching communication skills, assisting patients with dysfunctional behaviors, and guiding them through crises.
Responsibilities
- Perform intake assessments
- Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children
- Create individualized treatment plans for each client
- Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
- Perform regular patient outreach
- Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
Requirements
- 1+ years experience in OMH/OASAS environment
- Familiarity with both Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Treatment
- EHR documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized
- Russian Fluent
