About the Role

Earnest empowers ambitious professionals to make confident financial decisions and build the life they envision. This is a high-visibility, high-impact individual contributor role where you will architect, build, execute, and own marketing strategies end-to-end.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a translator between marketing, engineering, and analytics, turning complex marketing strategies into technical requirements, infrastructure, and scalable solutions.
  • Serve as the primary owner of the enterprise ESP (Braze), managing data, integrations, and unsubscribe governance.
  • Function as the end-to-end Ad Operations team, setting up event passback, installing and configuring tracking pixels, and optimizing spend efficiency.
  • Oversee the operational lifecycle of campaigns from inception to delivery, establishing tracking guidelines, designing data ingestion processes, and building ESP infrastructure.
  • Implement campaign monitoring, delivery alerting, and validation frameworks for technical setup and message execution.
  • Champion data governance, documentation, and deliverability best practices, ensuring compliance with CAN-SPAM and safeguarding IP and domain health.
  • Drive innovation in lifecycle messaging channels, building advanced personalization capabilities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience governing enterprise ESPs and CDPs (Braze experience is a major plus), managing data, and maintaining data hygiene.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience owning Ad Operations execution, including pixel configurations, server-side tracking, and targeting parameters across various channels.
  • Strong, fluent SQL skills for querying, transforming, and modeling complex datasets.
  • Ability to translate marketing strategy into technical architecture and execution plans.
  • Strong working knowledge of email deliverability best practices, IP/domain health management, and regulatory frameworks like CAN-SPAM.
  • Experience with Braze Liquid logic, Connected Content, and complex journey orchestration.
  • Experience in highly regulated fields, such as financial services.
  • Familiarity with modern data stack (e.g. Snowflake, dbt, Looker, Segment).
