About the Role
Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our Before and After School Programs in Western, NY. This role involves facilitating hands-on activities, providing a safe and fun environment, and supporting program operations for children aged 5-12.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities including fitness, STEAM, academic, and art, as well as homework completion.
- Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment, acting as a positive role model.
- Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
- Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience working with children under 13 preferred.
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children.
