About the Role

Jordan Health is seeking a Medical Records Clerk to accurately, timely, and completely scan and index all medical information under the guidance of the Director of Health Information Management/Privacy Officer. This role offers the opportunity to apply specialized experience and education in an environment where you can make a difference and significantly impact patients' quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Scan and index all medical documentation correctly in the electronic medical record.
  • Review all inactive provider laboratory reports and distribute appropriately.
  • Process all incoming electronic faxes and incoming mail on a daily basis and distribute to appropriate staff.
  • Ensure complete record integrity, maintenance, and proper record keeping.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • RHIT/Medical Assisting certification preferred.
  • Computer knowledge.
  • Ability to multitask.
