About the Role
Jordan Health is seeking a Medical Records Clerk to accurately, timely, and completely scan and index all medical information under the guidance of the Director of Health Information Management/Privacy Officer. This role offers the opportunity to apply specialized experience and education in an environment where you can make a difference and significantly impact patients' quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Scan and index all medical documentation correctly in the electronic medical record.
- Review all inactive provider laboratory reports and distribute appropriately.
- Process all incoming electronic faxes and incoming mail on a daily basis and distribute to appropriate staff.
- Ensure complete record integrity, maintenance, and proper record keeping.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- RHIT/Medical Assisting certification preferred.
- Computer knowledge.
- Ability to multitask.
