About the Role

The role will support the Investment Banking Industrials Group at RBC, providing analytical, due diligence, and transactional support on various financial opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical, due diligence, and transactional support on workout, restructuring, LBO, acquisition, and new business opportunities.
  • Develop financial models, pitch book materials, and conduct company research.
  • Analyze data to advise clients on mergers & acquisition transactions and corporate finance offerings.
  • Proactively identify operational risks and control deficiencies.
  • Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to business activities.
  • Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies, and identified risks to management and relevant functions.
  • Perform other reasonably required duties, responsibilities, and authority.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year relevant professional experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or a related field.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with computer applications such as MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Series 79 licensed.
  • Possess strong competency in Collaboration, Relationship Building, Communication, Integrity, and Operating with Diverse and Inclusive Mindset.
