About the Role
The Client Research & Analytics Lead is an integral part of Latham’s Revenue & Financial Analysis team, providing insight and advice on origination and proliferation credit to the firm’s partners. This role involves researching and analyzing client data using external market intelligence and internal systems, and reviewing lawyer information to advise partners on credit eligibility and application according to firm policies.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Conflicts, New Business Intake, Billing, and FIC teams to understand and advise on the implications of Credit on their processes and financial reporting for partners.
- Analyze and interrogate data, including financials, to drive efficiency and process improvement within the team.
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with lawyers and business services professionals at all levels to support and advise on Credit.
- Manage a portfolio of offices to ensure all partner credit needs are met through a structured, proactive approach.
- Represent the Credit team in cross-functional meetings to provide updates and answer questions.
- Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information.
Requirements
- Possess well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to interact with people at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrate the ability to take initiative and work both independently and in a team environment with a customer-service focus.
- Exhibit advanced organizational skills to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines.
- A minimum of six (6) years of experience in related research and analysis areas.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of cumulative professional experience.
