About the Role

Works under direct supervision and accurately assists in the processing, filling, and shipping of medication orders. Assists technicians and support staff in the order fulfillment process and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Pull drugs and match NDC to prescription labels when filling prescriptions
• Check and inspect incoming medication orders for accuracy
• Assist in the upkeep and cleanliness of each work station and the facility
• Accurately fill each individual order
• Contact customers on outgoing express shipments and address verification
• Maintain reasonable production as determined by supervisor
• Maintain quality assurances of all dispensings
• Assist other areas of the pharmacy as needed daily
• May assist in orienting and training new employees
• Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be able to work nights and weekends as required
• Must be available and on-time for scheduled work shifts
• Preferred hospital or retail pharmacy experience
• Must pass a drug test
• Must undergo initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
• Must meet all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED
• AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field (Preferred)

Salary/Compensations

• $15.00 - $15.46 an hour
