About the Role
Fitch is seeking a Director to cover the Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals sector, influencing decision-making in a competitive market through timely insights and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors influencing credit quality of companies in the Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals sectors.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models.
- Conduct meetings with Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals industry management teams.
- Present analysis of companies to internal credit rating committees.
- Communicate rating rationale to external audiences, including institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and media.
- Write timely and effective research on topical issues.
- Participate in the evaluation of other credits within Corporates and related credit groups.
- Represent Fitch in panel discussions and conferences.
- Mentor junior members of the Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals sector.
- Potentially assume managerial responsibilities.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of and keen interest in Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals.
- Professional background in capital markets and/or credit analysis.
- Well-developed financial statement analysis skills.
- Experience interpreting complex legal documents such as bank agreements and bond indentures.
- Strong pattern of leadership.
- Ability to proactively and successfully interact with various stakeholders.
- Healthy sense of intellectual curiosity.
- Demonstrated willingness and ability to attack and explain topics of analytical complexity.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High productivity work-ethic.
- Results-oriented mindset.
- Expertise in Excel and Word.
