About the Role

The Administrative Aide will support daily operations for large grants, cooperative agreements, and contracts with federal and state sponsors, including correspondence, procurement, grant administration, and travel.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and assist with a wide range of administrative activities for several large grants, cooperative agreements, and contracts with federal and state sponsors.
  • Support and provide administrative support for daily operations, including correspondence with study subjects, procurement, grant administration and travel activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, OR an Associate’s degree in a related field and one year of general office, secretarial, or administrative experience, OR three years of such experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with procurement.
  • Knowledge and experience with grants administration.
  • Experience performing administrative duties in an office setting.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills pertaining to file and email management.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro, SharePoint, WebEx, and Teams.
  • Grant funded position.
  • Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
  • Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.
  • Managers determine the specific telecommuting expectations for each role based on operational needs and job responsibilities.
  • Regardless of telecommuting status, all HRI employees must live within a reasonable commuting distance of their official work location and must reside in one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, or Vermont.
