About the Role
Provide direct administrative support for Business Development Managers in the sales department.
Responsibilities
- Perform administrative functions and support for the sales department.
- Interact directly with Brokers and Prospects during the sales process.
- Maintain a database of all Broker and Prospect contact information.
- Request and gather data to prepare proposals for prospects.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and quotes prior to all meetings.
- Serve as a direct liaison with Underwriters, overseeing accurate form submissions through the decision process.
- Manage appointment calendars and scheduling.
- Monitor sales calls and address questions directed to the sales team.
- Communicate regularly with Brokers and Prospects to maintain positive business relationships and high retention.
- Ensure standard business procedures are followed for business development.
- Identify areas for improvement and make actionable recommendations to increase operational efficiency.
- Handle general filing, correspondence, and maintenance.
- Complete special reporting and other projects as assigned.
Requirements
- At least two years of administrative experience.
- Knowledge of a PEO is a plus.
- Knowledge of benefits is a plus.
Skills
- Strong computer knowledge: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Detail oriented and efficient
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Experience with Salesforce
- Familiarity with PrismHR platform is a plus.
