About the Role

The Manager will support the development and implementation of Apollo Theater Academy (ATA) programs and services, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and high standards of execution. This role will be responsible for managing ATA operations, managing partnerships, and guiding a team of program administrators, instructors, and mentors.

Responsibilities

• Support program design and delivery for all ATA and new initiatives
• Coordinate and manage day-to-day execution of ATA and new programs
• Help shape program goals, policies, and standards
• Work closely with instructors and mentors to ensure program quality and consistency
• Connect participants with opportunities for career exposure and professional development
• Provide supervision and support to ATA program and external staff
• Coordinate communication across team members and external contributors
• Maintain and grow relationships with school, community, and industry partners
• Manage and track program assessments and evaluations
• Draft reports on program impact and outcomes
• Support budget tracking and forecasting in collaboration with the Associate Director of Learning and Engagement
• Representing ATA in partnerships and collaborative initiatives
• Help organize and execute student showcases, trainings, and public events
• Coordinate professional development workshops for instructional staff
• Contribute to the development of events that highlight career pathways in the creative industries
• Participate in department-wide planning and contribute to cross-functional initiatives
• Collaborate with Education Department colleagues to ensure alignment and integration across programs

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing or supporting educational programming in a school, arts, or cultural setting
• Demonstrated success working with youth and young adults (ages 12–25)
• Experience coordinating productions, workshops, or events
• Familiarity with stage production, technical design, and/or digital media preferred
• Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
• Knowledge of local and state arts/media education standards and 21st Century Skills is a plus
• Interest in creative youth development and/or entrepreneurship desirable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard administrative tools
