About the Role
The Bar Back is key to a successful operation, supporting bartenders and servers in delivering memorable hospitality. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to begin a career as a Bartender, offering growth and learning at a world-class property.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Keep the bar stocked and fill requisitions.
- Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area.
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily.
- Assist bartenders in securing requisitioned liquor, beer, and wine.
- Ensure clean glasses are stocked.
- Understand the details of the bar operation.
- Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.
- Maintain stock, cut, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
Requirements
- Must have an engaging and welcoming personality.
- Must have knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
- Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to regularly lift and carry 25 lbs.
