About the Role
We are a leading home services provider seeking responsible and reliable individuals to serve as Propane Delivery Drivers. You will deliver propane to residential establishments using tank trucks and/or tractor trailers, focusing on exceptional customer care.
Responsibilities
- Make routine deliveries to customer's homes and provide timely and safe propane deliveries.
- Follow safety company policies and procedures as well as DOT regulations.
- Safely operate all aspects of a propane bobtail.
- Accurately assess customer propane usage.
- Perform billing procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Perform safety checks on company and customer equipment through visual examination before dispensing fuel products.
- Respond to and follow out-of-gas procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment and equipment while adhering to OSHA, State and Federal safety regulations.
- Follow routine and time schedule.
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Ability to meet the company's motor vehicle policy.
- Must be reliable, diligent, and dependable.
- Ability to effectively utilize maps and locate addresses.
- Possible nights, weekend work; potential overtime.
- Clean driving record a must.
