About the Role

Canastota Dairy Products LLC is seeking a motivated and dependable Bulk Receiving/Process Operator for their Canastota, NY facility. This hands-on role is central to dairy operations, emphasizing attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload bulk dairy product deliveries, verifying quantities and quality upon arrival.
• Operate and monitor processing equipment in accordance with production schedules and safety standards.
• Perform routine quality checks and document findings to ensure product integrity and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of incoming bulk materials, processing data, and inventory logs.
• Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety protocols throughout all operations.
• Perform CIP (Clean-In-Place) procedures and routine sanitation of equipment and work areas.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and any issues.

Requirements

• Prior experience in dairy, food processing, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiarity with bulk receiving, processing equipment operation, or production line work.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, GMP, and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods in a production setting.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work various shifts including weekends as needed.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
