About the Role

The Summit Center is seeking a Cafeteria Monitor to provide supervision and instructional support for students with autism and other developmental disabilities during lunch periods, ensuring a safe and organized cafeteria environment.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate professional knowledge of children with developmental disabilities
  • Maintain an organized, clean and effective cafeteria environment
  • Monitor and assist with students during classroom lunch periods
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Support Service Personnel
  • Manage behavioral challenges
  • Adhere to The Summit Center Core Agency Values of Adaptability, Accountability, Collaboration, Integrity, Optimism, and Respect
  • Adhere to the Summit Center employment policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook including, but not limited to dress code, attendance and punctuality, and Paid Time Off
  • Perform any other duties as requested by your supervisor

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
