Responsibilities
- Assist in all areas of audio production for venue events.
- Serve as the secondary point of contact for all sound and audio at shows, communicating with staff, vendors, security, and artist management.
- Oversee all stage and technical needs, including sound equipment and venue maintenance.
- Set up, operate, and maintain the venue sound system.
- Operate the sound system during shows and confirm microphone and speaker functionality.
- Set up and break down sound equipment on stage.
- Potentially manage production and operations aspects, including vendor end-to-end onsite setup.
- Serve as the secondary liaison between vendors, artists, sound crews, and property management companies for show and event execution.
- Assist and transport event materials to and from the venue safely and efficiently.
- Fulfill production needs and artist rider requests.
- Collect, transport, and deliver equipment, supplies, and materials to and from the venue.
- Run various errands by foot, bike, vehicle, or public transportation.
- Make purchases for shows and the venue as needed.
- Assist the production office with administrative duties, including signage creation, correspondence drafting, and inventory management.
- Perform other duties as required to fulfill show needs and artist riders.
- Coordinate all hospitality needs for artists and crew.
- Schedule meals and catering.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the dressing room area.
- Ensure all amenities are stocked.
- Run errands to meet artist needs.
- Prepare and serve meals for artists and crew on show days.
- Assist with cleanup and disposal after meal service.
- Ensure dressing rooms are set up, stocked, clean, and meet artist rider specifications.
- Coordinate tasks with the artist's assistant to ensure all needs are met.
- Assist with errands for artists.
- Assist with other projects as needed.
Requirements
- 4+ years of related work experience (A2 Audio Engineer)
- Ability to operate sound systems and plan for live production events (A2 Audio Engineer)
- Working knowledge of stand tools and equipment of the trade (A2 Audio Engineer)
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships (A2 Audio Engineer)
- Strong listening and verbal communication skills (A2 Audio Engineer)
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office Professional Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) (A2 Audio Engineer)
- Able to work various hours: nights, weekends, and holidays as required (A2 Audio Engineer)
- 2 years of related work experience (Production Runner)
- Must be able to take direction and execute instructions accurately (Production Runner)
- Must have valid driver’s license if venue location requires driving (Production Runner)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Production Runner)
- 2-4 years of related work experience (Artist Hospitality Coordinator)
- Existing relationships with agents, managers, and touring personnel (Artist Hospitality Coordinator)
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize conflicting requests (Artist Hospitality Coordinator)
- Strong time management skills with exceptional attention to detail (Artist Hospitality Coordinator)
- Strong intrapersonal skills with an outgoing, friendly personality (Artist Hospitality Coordinator)
- Knowledge of music industry preferred (Artist Hospitality Coordinator)
