About the Role
Provide design expertise and solutions for pediatric healthcare facilities, working closely with healthcare professionals to create functional and aesthetically pleasing environments tailored to patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand functional and design requirements for pediatric healthcare facilities.
- Develop and present design concepts and solutions aligned with company mission and values.
- Create detailed design plans, including space planning, material selection, and color schemes.
- Source and select furniture, fixtures, and equipment for patients and families.
- Manage design projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in pediatric healthcare design and incorporate them.
- Conduct site visits and collaborate with contractors and vendors for accurate design execution.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of design projects.
Requirements
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and material selection.
- Knowledge of ADA and building codes related to healthcare facilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for creating functional and inspiring spaces for children and adolescents with special healthcare needs.
