About the Role

Zeta is seeking New York State certified School Psychologists with a Master's degree or Ph.D. to support students in crisis and drive student growth and achievement. This role is crucial for implementing high-quality student support systems and social-emotional learning (SEL) within the school community.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a thought leader, partnering with school leaders, counselors, teachers, and families to implement student support systems and SEL.
  • Lead and monitor individualized student growth for students needing targeted support in emotion regulation, social perspective-taking, problem-solving, and self-control.
  • Design and support the implementation of effective SEL programming, coaching teachers on execution and ensuring school-wide alignment.
  • Build strong relationships with students and families, supporting school-wide efforts to ensure students demonstrate Zeta’s EPIC values.
  • Collaborate with the Student Achievement Team and CSE to identify, evaluate, and support students with disabilities and diverse learning needs.
  • Play an integral role on the RtI Team, using data to design, implement, and refine tiered academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports.
  • Conduct comprehensive monolingual psycho-educational assessments, ensuring timely and accurate evaluations.
  • Partner with fellow school psychologists and network staff, consulting on complex cases and sharing best practices.

Requirements

  • New York State certified School Psychologist
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in School Psychology
  • Proven record of supporting students in crisis and propelling student growth and achievement
  • Work authorization required (permanent authorization to work in the U.S.)
