About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will support daily cloud deployment operations across AWS, gaining hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, containerized workloads, and cloud operations. You will contribute directly to our deployment and monitoring systems in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and monitor Terragrunt/Terraform deployments across development and production AWS environments
  • Troubleshoot deployment failures and coordinate rollbacks
  • Debug and maintain GitHub Actions workflows
  • Manage artifact storage, S3, ECR
  • Triage CI/CD failures and unblock deployments
  • Perform day-to-day AWS resource management, EC2, RDS, VPC
  • Monitor CloudWatch/Datadog dashboards
  • Respond to alerts and operational issues
  • Support production services including distributed messaging systems
  • Execute runbooks
  • Triage logs and traces to diagnose issues
  • Maintain runbooks and operational procedures
  • Identify and automate repetitive tasks
  • Contribute to infrastructure as code improvements
  • Participate in on-call rotations, after onboarding
  • Execute incident response procedures
  • Document post-incident learnings

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in cloud operations, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering, AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools, Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and version control, Git
  • Comfortable with Linux command line and troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and understand application logs, error messages, and monitoring data
  • Strong communication skills and ability to document processes clearly
  • Willingness to learn rapidly in a startup environment with evolving infrastructure
