About the Role

Join Pinterest’s IT Enterprise Systems team to evolve our Oracle EBS and Finance technology landscape. You will drive meaningful impact by partnering with Finance, Accounting, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and business-critical ERP solutions that support Pinterest’s continued growth. This role involves applying AI thoughtfully to improve systems analysis, documentation, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Oracle EBS Financials across accounting-centric processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, subledger accounting and related integrations.
  • Lead solution design, configuration, support, and continuous improvement across accounting processes, with emphasis on close acceleration, data accuracy, control strength, and audit readiness.
  • Apply AI thoughtfully to improve systems analysis, documentation, and operational efficiency, while exercising sound judgment, governance, and risk awareness in finance-critical environments.
  • Support end-to-end integrations between Oracle EBS and external enterprise applications, including SaaS and cloud-based systems that impact accounting operations, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Work closely with Accounting stakeholders to understand operational requirements and translate them into scalable solutions across Oracle EBS and connected cloud platforms.
  • Help define and execute the Oracle ERP roadmap in partnership with product owners, systems managers, and business leaders, aligning technology investments with strategic business priorities.
  • Assess and enhance record-to-report and related finance processes by identifying ways to simplify workflows, strengthen controls, and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure strong SDLC, change management, and SOX-compliant processes across the ERP ecosystem, with a focus on auditability, stability, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with Managed Service Partners and internal teams to promote operational excellence, support best practices, and continuously improve service delivery.
  • Partner across Finance and IT to support broader ERP modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience implementing, supporting, and enhancing Oracle EBS in large, complex enterprise environments.
  • Deep expertise in Oracle EBS Financials, including strong hands-on knowledge of GL, AP, CM, FA, SLA, and accounting control frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials is a plus.
  • Ability to use AI responsibly in enterprise environments, with attention to security, privacy, governance, and the validation of AI-assisted outputs before use in production or business-critical workflows.
  • Strong functional understanding of end-to-end Finance processes, accounting operations, and ERP controls in a public-company or highly regulated environment.
  • Experience leading Oracle EBS configuration, enhancements, issue resolution, release coordination, and cross-functional systems initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle EBS integrations, enterprise application architecture, and cloud integration frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of SOX controls, audit readiness, compliance requirements, and change management practices within ERP and financial systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven success working across Finance, IT, vendors, and global cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, systems thinking, and a track record of delivering reliable, scalable, and business-focused enterprise solutions.
