About the Role

ATL is seeking Geotechnical Driller candidates. This position provides an opportunity for individuals to work in a diverse marketplace and offers a challenging and rewarding career. Experienced and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Mobilize drilling equipment and supplies to various locations throughout New York State.
• Safely operate and maintain drill rigs and associated equipment to execute geotechnical and environmental investigation programs in accordance with industry standards and project specific scopes of work.
• Maintain safe work sites conforming to OSHA and project specified standards.
• Prepare boring, test pit, and monitor well construction logs.
• Install geotechnical instrumentation.
• Effectively communicate with Engineers, Geologists, Scientists, Project Managers, and owner’s representatives.

Requirements

• Able to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Experience operating drill rigs or heavy equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and enjoy working with machinery.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Willing to travel throughout New York State.
• A valid New York State CDL driver’s license or the ability to obtain within 3 months.
• A positive attitude, with ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Enjoy working outdoors in a hands-on environment.
