About the Role
Jordan Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to work as a member of the primary health care support team, providing quality medical aid to patients under the guidance of the Practice Manager. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on patients' quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Jordan Health patients receive high quality, consistent, competent, patient-centered care.
- Manage patient flow to clinicians and service staff based on appointment arrangements to allow Jordan Health to serve the optimal number of patients.
- Act as a strong team player within the Jordan team.
- Ensure Jordan Health is in full compliance with all requirements related to the provision of care.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant or equivalent clinical training.
- At least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- High school or GED equivalent.
- Current BLS/CPR Certificate through the American Heart Association.
- Infection Control Certificate.

- Excellent computer skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Interviewing techniques for patient/family data gathering.
- Strong communication and inter-professional skills.
- Problem solving abilities and clinical judgment.
- Bilingual or multilingual status may be required based on department/organization needs and will be specified at the time of interview.
