About the Role

This internship offers the opportunity to apply mechanical or electrical engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field, contributing to impactful projects that solve technical challenges and improve vehicle performance and safety. You will collaborate with teammates across Maintenance, Engineering, and Project Management, participate in design reviews, and support change management.

Responsibilities

• Root cause analysis of service failures
• Review supplier technical documentation
• Assist with vehicle modification activities
• Support technical problem-solving related to vehicles
• Propose equipment modifications to improve safety, customer experience, and reliability
• Participate in design reviews, project planning, and quality assurance activities
• Completing root cause analysis (RCA) of service failures
• Analyzing data and making actionable recommendations
• Collaborating with different departments to achieve desired outcomes
• Preparing project timelines and producing engineering reports
• Attending and presenting at meetings with customers
• Assisting or leading vehicle modification activities

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Thrives in both team-oriented and autonomous work environments
• Continuous improvement and data-driven mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project)
• Experience or interest in reliability engineering
• Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, CATIA V5)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Project management experience (an asset)
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
