About the Role

This role manages complex procurements, projects, and processes, often involving multiple government subcontracts. The position requires explaining and interpreting policies, providing guidance, and applying supply chain/procurement principles with general oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute subcontract strategies aligned with program and organizational objectives, managing risks and ensuring compliance.
  • Lead negotiations to establish subcontract agreements with favorable terms and conditions.
  • Manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring adherence to agreed terms.
  • Monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance against defined metrics, delivery schedules, quality standards, and cost requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure subcontract requirements support program needs.
  • Identify potential risks associated with subcontracting activities and develop mitigation strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant subcontracts experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related subcontracts experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of prior related subcontracts experience in lieu of a degree.
