About the Role
American Exchange Group is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Designer to join our Home team, focusing on designing a new premium licensed brand for the off-price market. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to support the design and development of innovative home products across categories like bedding, bath, and pet beds.
Responsibilities
- Create seasonal mood and trend boards in collaboration with the Design Director.
- Develop accurate artwork, repeats, and specs using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Prepare design files for sampling and production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product execution matches design intent.
- Support product revisions, costing updates, and presentation materials.
- Stay on top of timelines, trends, and technical innovations in textiles.
- Contribute ideas and assist wherever needed throughout the design process.
Requirements
- 5+ years of design experience in home or fashion/apparel.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Detail-driven with a collaborative mindset and eagerness to grow.
