About the Role
The Shipping Auditor ensures the accurate loading of all pallets set for delivery. This role is responsible for safety compliance and the overall cleanliness of the warehouse. Responsibilities
- Reports to work on time wearing a clean WBD approved safety apparel.
- Performs as a night crew loader on an as needed basis.
- Confirms all orders set for next day delivery are accurately loaded.
- Responsible for OSHA/safety compliance.
- Promotes safety awareness with all night employees.
- Responsible for the timely and accurately loaded delivery of trucks.
- Ensures night crew achieves load error goals.
- Meets breakage goals.
- Foster a cooperative work environment with all departments.
- Uphold customer service philosophy and uphold WBD standards while executing business activities.
- Strive to build and maintain a favorable reputation of WBD to fulfill the vision of being the Preferred Supplier with our customers.
Requirements
- Minimum: High school diploma or GED with forklift & pallet jack certification
- Preferred: College Degree
- Minimum: Superior accuracy ability.
- Ability to interact with all employees and management.
- Preferred: Superior Communication skills
- Minimum: Experience in material handling.
- Preferred: Supervisory experience in material handling and beverage distribution.
- Must hold a valid, clean NYS driver's license that is acceptable to our insurance carrier.
- Regularly required to lift and stack: 1 case of can (21 pounds), 1 case of 12oz bottles (38 pounds), 1 case of 40 oz bottles (48 pounds) and ½ barrels weighing 175 pounds 3 feet off the ground.
- Regularly required to stand; continuous use of hands and arms to reach for product.
- Frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
