About the Role
The Field Service Representative (FSR) is responsible for meeting customers, reading and setting meters, performing inspections, reporting unmetered properties, operating company equipment, and completing SAP orders. The role requires computer literacy and proficiency with the Mobile Work Management Program and meter reading equipment.
Responsibilities
- Meeting customers, reading, setting and removal of meters
- Inspections for high bills and plumbing inspections
- Reporting known or suspected unmetered properties
- Locate, access, and operate company equipment, such as curb stops, gate valves, and shutoff valves
- Remove debris/water from company facilities including meter tiles, curb and valve boxes
- Perform shut-offs, turn-offs, and turn-ons
- Perform and complete various SAP orders
- Become computer literate and able to learn and work with the Mobile Work Management Program
- Learn to operate the meter reading equipment by the end of the probationary period
Requirements
- Must work in an outdoor environment with exposure to weather-related heat and cold and related elements
- A valid driver's license without restrictions is required
- May occasionally be required to lift/move over 25 pounds
