About the Role
The Bell Attendant is an integral part of the Residential Services Team, ensuring residents are well looked after. As the first and last impression of the Four Seasons Private Residences, this role carries a special responsibility to greet residents by name, transport luggage, and provide orientations.
Responsibilities
- Greets all guests passing through the lobby and offers assistance.
- Delivers luggage to rooms upon check-in and picks up luggage upon departure, moving it to storage or the Front Drive.
- Maintains proper records of luggage deliveries and pick-ups.
- Assists guests with inquiries regarding hotel services, operating hours, key personnel, in-house events, and directions.
- Performs errands for guests and the hotel, which may require local travel off-property.
- Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests.
- Complies with Four Seasons Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
- Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
Requirements
- Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Excellent communication skills are essential.
- Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
- A warm welcoming smile, a positive attitude, and knowledge of the local area are desirable.
- Minimum of 1+ year of bell/guest services experience in a hotel environment.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for 8 hours per shift.
- Ability to lift and push 50 – 100 lbs.
- High school education or equivalent experience is required.
- Must already be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered, pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
