Responsibilities

• Timely pickup, labeling, loading, and delivery of shipments using required equipment, policies, and procedures.
• Driving a tractor-trailer unit to one or more customer locations and returning to the original domicile during the same shift.
• Loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages.
• Utilizing heavy machinery to complete tasks.
• Delivering and picking up packages to and from residential and/or commercial properties.
• Utilizing safe transportation methods to get to and from destinations.
• Ensuring the best customer service through efficiency and dedication.
• Leveraging technology to effectively aid in delivery services.

Requirements

• Must meet qualifications at the time of applying.
• Class A CDL with tractor/trailer experience.
• Ability to drive an automatic & manual transmission.
• HazMat endorsement.
• Pass a UPS road test, a DOT physical including a drug screen, and all necessary background checks.
• Utilize various pieces of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including pallet movers and stand-up forklifts to load/unload palletized freight.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
