About the Role
We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst to join our AI Engineering Team. This position will fill an essential role in our team, acting as a liaison between data science, AI engineering, and business groups.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data science teams, and operation teams for defining product vision, requirement gathering, and project scoping.
- Collaborate with a wide variety of teams to define roadmaps and integrated plans.
- Collaborate with architects to understand technical aspects and provide answers for security gratings.
- Collaborate with AI engineering, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Dev Ops for Jira ticket elaboration.
- Collaborate across teams to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Act as a glue between data science, AI engineer, and business groups.
- Collaborate across teams during testing phases.
- Own and manage documents like BRD, Technical Specification doc, Functional & Non-Functional requirements, and global test strategy.
- Own and manage Project & release planning documents.
- Build case studies & project understanding documents.
- Participate and lead in all agile ceremonies.
- Manage product backlog.
- Help Scrum Master prioritize work.
- Proactively track progress and provide updates.
- Highlight risks and share mitigation plans.
- Conduct stakeholder communication across key project milestones.
- Gather and share feedback from end users.
- Facilitate daily scrums, planning, review meetings, and prioritization workshops.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in IT as a senior business analyst.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Senior BA or Product Owner in AI product development or mature agile environments.
- Excellent knowledge of agile methodology.
- Solid experience in AI product development projects.
- Strong knowledge in AI, Data Science, and LLM applications.
- Comfortable with Jira, Teams, and Confluence tools.
- Ability to deliver impactful presentations and facilitate workshops.
- Very good understanding of the technical aspects of design and development.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Fluency in French is a plus.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Salary/Compensations
- 94,200 - 115,200
- Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance): 12%
