  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis to ensure offerings remain differentiated and relevant.
  • Lead annual practice planning, including revenue targets, innovation priorities, and capability development.
  • Establish and enforce delivery standards, methodologies, and quality assurance protocols across all practice engagements.

  • Partner with delivery and operations teams to ensure optimal resource allocation and project staffing.
  • Continuously expand subject-matter expertise across life sciences project controls, including capital project management, facility shutdowns, technology transfers, enterprise system integrations, validation life cycle, quality/regulatory/compliance frameworks, GxP automated systems, quality control, and operational readiness.
  • Provide expert analysis of complex project data and deliver clear, strategic insights that drive executive-level decision-making.
  • Independently develop and oversee high-quality project controls deliverables, including reports, dashboards, and management summaries.
  • Integrate and validate inputs from Project Coordinators, field teams, and cross-functional stakeholders while maintaining full accountability for final project controls outputs.
  • Communicate critical project information with clarity and urgency, ensuring field decisions are translated into long-range schedule, cost, and resource impacts.
  • Offer hands-on technical support to clients navigating the engineering life cycle of advanced equipment and manufacturing systems.
  • Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive project tools such as site-level dashboards, integrated schedules, and deliverable tracking systems.
  • Conduct rigorous due diligence and quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of all project controls deliverables.
  • Proactively identify risks, roadblocks, and performance gaps; escalate appropriately and apply advanced problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions.
  • Identify, mentor, and develop high-potential consultants within the practice to build future leadership capacity.
  • Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition to define hiring profiles, support recruitment, and guide onboarding.

  • Represent the company as a domain expert through keynote speaking, panel participation, and industry publications.
  • Develop and publish thought leadership content (e.g., white papers, frameworks, case studies) to build brand equity.
  • Monitor emerging trends and technologies to inform the evolution of the practice and anticipate client needs.
  • Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, industry bodies, and technology providers.
