About the Role

Our Lady of Mercy Life Center (OLOM) is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their progressive team. This role offers the opportunity to gain clinical experience in a sub-acute unit and make a difference in the lives of elders. OLOM believes in providing care that emphasizes dignity, respect, and self-worth.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks.
• Assist with clerical and other support tasks to ensure quality patient care.
• Ensure efficient and effective operation of patient care units.
• Relay information concerning a resident's condition.

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent life-experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sincere desire to serve others.
• Must have patience, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.
• Willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Ability to work professionally with other staff, residents, family members, and outside agencies/visitors.
