About the Role
This role is responsible for establishing and nurturing profitable partnerships with financial institutions, acting as a bridge between the bank's offerings and clients' needs to ensure mutual benefit and long-term success. The team focuses on Global Treasury banking products including Trade, Payments, Clearing, Debt and FX, in close partnership with DCM, RSG & Markets.
Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships to identify financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance.
- Analyze data from investment portfolios and cash flow to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Research client industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment to inform strategic recommendations.
- Design customized solutions incorporating a range of the bank's products and services.
- Communicate the value proposition of proposed solutions and negotiate terms beneficial to both client and bank.
- Provide guidance on financial decisions, investment advice, risk management, and wealth management strategies.
- Assess financial, legal, and operational risks associated with client relationships and implement mitigation measures.
- Document client interactions, transactions, and agreements for transparency and auditability.
- Monitor client satisfaction, revenue generated, and other relevant metrics to evaluate relationship management effectiveness.

- Maintain up-to-date relevant sector/functional knowledge and insight into external market developments/initiatives.
- Use interpretative thinking and advanced analytical skills to solve problems and design solutions in complex/sensitive situations.
- Exercise management authority to make significant decisions and certain strategic decisions or recommendations.
- Negotiate with and influence stakeholders at a senior level internally and externally.
- Act as principal contact point for key clients and counterparts in other functions/business divisions.
- Act as spokesperson for the function and business division.
