About the Role

Strategic Finance at Air addresses business-critical challenges, acting as a strategic partner through analytical rigor and business context to guide Air's growth, investment, and scaling. This role supports Air's growth phase, partnering with GTM leadership to shape strategy and decision-making in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve forecasting, reporting, and analytical infrastructure, including ARR, operating, and headcount models.
• Prepare weekly revenue reviews and funnel reporting, translating data into actionable insights.
• Leverage GTM metrics (CAC, LTV, pipeline coverage, sales productivity, ARR/NRR) to identify opportunities, shape investment decisions, and influence executive strategy.
• Build Board-ready materials, investor updates, and performance narratives.
• Support quarterly planning and budgeting, translating strategy into forecasts and investment trade-off decisions.
• Partner with GTM and Product to evaluate strategic bets, model outcomes, and measure impact.
• Leverage AI and automation tools to modernize finance workflows and improve operational velocity.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Investment Banking, Private Equity, FP&A or Management Consulting experience (or 4+ for the senior level).
• Highly proficient in Excel/G-sheets with experience building financial models and investor-ready presentations.
• Proficiency (or working knowledge) of the latest AI-native finance tech stack.

Skills

• SaaS experience or knowledge is highly preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in SQL and BI tools is a plus.
