About the Role

You will own a structured, always-on program of experimentation across key digital surfaces, including landing pages, assessment flows, activation, and onboarding, with a clear ambition to expand into post-sales and lifecycle touchpoints. You will bring scientific rigor to run meaningful experiments and the strategic instinct to identify which experiments are worth pursuing. You will build a learnings-driven roadmap that directly informs future initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Turn data and insight into sharper hypotheses.
  • Combine multiple signals (funnel analytics, behavioral data, session recordings, patient research, support themes) to develop a point of view on experience performance.
  • Run structured discovery each quarter that directly changes at least one roadmap priority.
  • Write read-outs that detail learnings about patient behavior, implications for the next hypothesis, and insights ruled out.
  • Build and own a structured experimentation program.
  • Develop a clear hypothesis and experimentation framework based on qualitative and quantitative insight.
  • Sequence experiments deliberately, validating assumptions cheaply before committing to large builds and testing riskiest hypotheses first.
  • Maintain a clear, up-to-date view of ongoing tests, their purpose, and expected learnings.
  • Ensure every test has a purpose that maps back to a strategic question about the patient experience.
  • Set up experiments to yield meaningful results.
  • Write rigorous briefs including clear hypothesis, defined primary metric, pre-specified success criteria, correct sample size, and expected run time.
  • Understand the difference between statistical and practical significance and avoid premature test conclusions.
  • Update the roadmap after every experiment based on learnings, valuing dead ends as much as wins.
  • Build a compounding library of knowledge on patterns, principles, and reusable frameworks for team use.
  • Collaborate with design, product management, growth marketing, and clinical teams to move tests from brief to launch efficiently.
  • Flag dependencies and risks proactively and communicate status clearly.

Requirements

  • View experiments as a way to validate thinking, not just a test.
  • Possess a framework for deciding what to test, in what order, and why.
  • Develop a roadmap that tells a story about strategic focus, evidence, and next steps based on learnings.
  • Be statistically literate and uncompromising, understanding statistical power, sample size, significance, and confidence intervals as tools.
  • Be able to hold the line when stakeholders want to call a test prematurely.
  • Understand that a poorly run experiment is worse than no experiment.
  • Be a systematic hypothesis builder, knowing the question being answered, expected outcomes, and conclusions for both scenarios.
  • Synthesize insight across multiple data sources (quantitative funnel data with qualitative signals like user research, session recordings, support themes).
  • Be obsessed with the 'so what', focusing on implications and how results change next steps.
  • Own outcomes, not just execution, tracking metrics post-launch and diagnosing performance.
  • Treat non-working experiments as data, not failures.
  • Own experimentation across core web surfaces (landing pages, quiz flows, purchase funnels).
  • Work at the intersection of growth marketing, product management, UX, research, and conversion strategy.
  • Bring analytical depth and patient empathy.
